Local Players

Recreational soccer games are held at Yosemite High School on Saturdays in Sept, Oct, and Nov, for ages 3-15. Sign up and tell us what school your player wants to be matched up with, and we’ll do our best to put them on a team with their classmates.

Travel Players

Travel soccer will start on Aug 1. These teams do fill up, so we can’t guarantee a position for all signups. Please get in early.

In years past, we would use birth year to determine league age, which affects the division your players go into. With Cal North’s change for the 2026-27 season, league age more closely aligns with school years. The age of a player before Aug 1 of the starting year will be their league age.

Here’s an easy way to figure it out. Ask yourself,

How old is my player by August of the season’s starting year?

For example, this year’s season starts in 2026. For a player born March 1, 2015:

1. How old will she be on Aug 1, 2026? 11.
   (She turned 11 on March 1, she’ll still be 11 in Aug.)
2. Therefore, she’s league age 11, and fits into an Under 12 division.

When? 9am-12pm, Aug 9, 2025

Uniform will be a gray t-shirt, black shorts with no white, black socks, and mostly black shoes. You will get a badge to iron on your shirt after completing the course.

If you are 18 or older, you must complete a background check.

New coaches, this is a great way to learn the rules!

Please make sure you have submitted a birth certificate (if you have not in the past) and a picture of your child. It must be like a school picture without anyone else in the picture and no hats or animals. Think school picture!!!! Make sure the picture is up to date. We have some very young pictures that need to be removed and replaced.

If you are on a travel team you must have the permission of the coach or myself before your registration can be accepted.

Registrations must be paid in full before you will be allowed to play on a team.

If you want a new jersey please order one with registration unless you are a member of the travel team.

You must be registered by July 20th to be placed on the team you played with last year.

Select “Mountain Area Soccer Spring 2024/25” when signing up.

Prices: $50 for players continuing from the 2024 fall season, $70 for new players.

Schedule: games on Saturdays, 3/22 - 5/31.

Locations: Home games will be played in Oakhurst and away games could be in Lemoore, Visalia, Porterville, Chowchilla, Fresno, and Madera.

Specific times and locations will be available after signups are closed across the district.
